Rengin is a personal color and astrology app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Rengin app and this website.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

• Onboarding answers (style preferences, vibe)
• Date and place of birth, used to generate your astrology profile
• Self-reported skin tone, eye color, and hair color
• Account details (name, email) if you sign in

Information collected automatically

• Device type, operating system version, and app version
• App usage events for product improvement and crash reporting

Photo access

When you use the outfit feature, photos are processed on your device. We do not upload your photos to our servers.

3. How we use your information

• To generate your color season analysis and daily palette
• To personalize content, recommendations, and notifications
• To diagnose crashes and improve app performance
• To respond to your messages and support requests

4. Data storage and security

We store account and profile data on industry-standard infrastructure. Photos and other sensitive data processed for color analysis are handled on-device and are not retained on our servers. We use technical and organizational measures to protect your data.

5. Third-party services

We use the following service providers to operate Rengin:

• RevenueCat — subscription and entitlement management
• Apple Sign-In and Google Sign-In — authentication
• Anthropic API — AI processing for color analysis (no training, no retention)
• Supabase — secure database hosting

6. Your rights

You can view, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can also delete your account from inside the app, or by emailing privacy@renginapp.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.

7. Children's privacy

Rengin is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can remove it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you inside the app or by other reasonable means.
